RIKA, HONORED AT THE ENERGY GLOBE AWARDS

The Energy Globe Award is indeed one of the world's most prestigious environmental awards, and we received it in 2014. Global champions of sustainable solutions were recognized in five categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Youth, and a special category. Innovative solutions to the current crises abound, as the numerous projects submitted for the Energy Globe Award have impressively demonstrated. It is therefore all the more important to inform economic actors worldwide about these solutions and encourage them to participate in their subsequent implementation. The Energy Globe Awards have been presented annually for over 20 years. In total, more than 30,000 sustainable projects have been submitted to date, offering innovative solutions to climate and environmental challenges. At the awards ceremony in Vienna, leading experts, including Nobel laureate Mohan Munasinghe, gathered for a panel discussion and a gala evening. The Energy Globe Award is the world's most prestigious environmental prize. It is awarded annually to national projects that improve the environment through personal actions, sustainable projects, or sustainability awareness campaigns. In many countries, the awards for these national projects are presented to the winners by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA offices. At the end of the year, the Energy Globe World Award for Sustainability is then presented by the Austrian Energy Globe Foundation.
